- Hi there, my name is Michael Houser and I'm a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist with over 13 years' experience and an Associate's Degree in Kinesiology - I specialize in posture, weight-loss, nutrition, muscle gain/toning, and have worked with clients who are just starting out on their fitness journeys, athletes, teens, seniors, and everything in-between - I have helped clients improve coordination, flexibility, stability, back and neck pain, joint (knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle, etc.) issues, and more - I teach people how to work out correctly and safely, ensuring training and joint longevity - I understand that each and every client has different needs and goals, so I create my programs specially tailored just for you! - I offer a free fitness assessment/trial session to see if we would make a good team, and my rates are competitive--starting as low as just $55 per hour-long in-person session (price dependent upon sessions per week and advance payment structure). - Time slots are available Mon - Fri 10am - 7pm, I train out of Thunder Fitness Newark (pictures of studio above) or I can train you at your house/apartment! -If you're looking for something more flexible or my location doesn't work for you, I also offer online training starting at just $40 a week. I will create a personalized workout program and nutrition plan based on your goals and fitness level, and we will meet for a video call once a week for check-ins, guidance, accountability, and to make adjustments to any exercises or your program as needed. I'll also be always available to answer your questions via text.
