The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms have been serving our local communities since 2005. Founded by Lucas Kovalcik and Tim Walsh they built the first location in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey and grew the programing options to include memberships, private climbing sessions, birthday parties, camps, competitive climbing teams, belay classes and more. After 4 years of fine tuning the programming The Gravity Vault opened its second location in Chatham, New Jersey.
In 2013 The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms took the next step towards bringing rock climbing to local communities everywhere through franchising, opening its first franchisee owned and operated facility in Middletown, New Jersey. Continuing our efforts to bring the sport of rock climbing to local communities everywhere, The Gravity Vault is working to open facilities in states spanning the east coast.

With 25,000 square feet of climbing, this facility boasts an assortment of climbing for both the experienced and novice climbers on two different floors. Our staff led programs, classes, and birthday parties, will allow novice climbers to have a fun indoor climbing experience with the guidance of our enthusiastic and knowledgeable team.
