Argana Moroccan Hammam & Spa12 years experience
A Moroccan spa, often referred to as a hammam, is a traditional bathing and cleansing ritual deeply ingrained in Moroccan culture. It typically involves a series of steps aimed at purifying the body and rejuvenating the spirit.
Upon entering the spa, visitors are greeted by a serene atmosphere filled with the scent of aromatic oils and the soothing sound of running water. The experience usually begins with a steam bath to open pores and relax muscles, followed by a vigorous exfoliation using a special glove called a "kessa" to slough off dead skin cells and impurities.
After exfoliation, guests are often treated to a luxurious body mask made from natural ingredients such as clay, rose petals, or argan oil, which nourishes and softens the skin. During this time, they may also receive a massage using fragrant oils to further enhance relaxation and promote circulation.
